Following a joint venture back in 2012 for the Defender Challenge.
Well Jaguar Land Rover have saved Bowler from alleged administration for an undisclosed amount and taken it under the wing of Land Rovers Special Vehicles Operations.

Bowler started off just converting Land Rover Defenders into faster more nimble vehicles.
Known for making cars like the Nemesis EXR and EXR S (the road going version of the EXR).
EXR S
Bulldog
Wildcat
Later the Wildcat design being bought by Supacat and fitted with some fire power to make it into an assault vehicle.
All starting out from the humble Bowler Tomcat.
I hope Jaguar Land Rover and Bowler do well, I’d hate for another amazing car company to go defunct.

I don’t know,

JLR, which bought Bowler for an undisclosed sum, said the all-terrain specialist has expertise in “all-terrain vehicle dynamics, low-volume production techniques, and proving the durability of components under extreme conditions”, all of which is “highly sought-after” .
It added that SVO is a “fast-growing business that amplifies the key attributes of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to create distinctive world-class products – including SV, Vehicle Personalisation and Classic” . Bowler, as a fourth business unit, is “a natural fit”, said the firm.
‘emphasis mine’
So it’s sounds like they want it for special projects and limited and performance editions.

It would be great if they let it be but maybe gave them a bigger budget, they could produce some ridiculously cool trucks.
“all-terrain vehicle dynamics, low-volume production techniques, and proving the durability of components under extreme conditions”, all of which is “highly sought-after” .
When I read that though, it makes me think they will use them to develop their advanced electric cars using some of their specialist construction/ chassis knowledge.

She was only the fish mongers daughter, but she knew how to lay it on the slap and fillet.
She was only the road layers daughter, but she loved her asphalt.

I thoroughly approve of this decision. After the death of Bowler’s founder they were a bit... directionless might be the right word?

And look into building a car-based vehicle that takes Bowler’s legendary reputation for rugged off-roaders to a vehicle with more civilized on-road manners.
